Katherine Zarate Dulany, Esq. is an experienced and responsive San Francisco Bay Area employment lawyer and business litigator whose mission is to help clients grow their businesses and flourish by understanding her clients, their businesses and their people. Katherine offers practical employment advice, counseling and training to businesses seeking to minimize litigation exposure and comply with California employment laws. Because litigation is sometimes unavoidable, Katherine provides litigation services aimed at resolving disputes strategically and efficiently with the least intrusion into clients’ business operations.

Katherine has had over 15 years of experience with top rated law firms – Thelen, Reid, and Priest LLP and Coblentz, Patch, Duffy and Bass LLP. She has successfully litigated cases through trial and has also positively resolved many disputes without litigation. In her counseling practice, she is proud to have spared many employers from significant exposure to substantial liabilities and litigation costs.

Katherine obtained her Juris Doctor and Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from The University of California Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law and her Bachelor of Science, with the highest honors, from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations.

Katherine is dedicated to serving the community. For over 8 years, she served as an elected school board member for the Jefferson Union High School District. She is a former President and current Advisory Board Member of the Filipino Bar Association of Northern California (FBANC). She served on the California State Bar’s Ethnic Minority Relations Committee. She is also a volunteer teacher for her parish.

Katherine lives in Daly City with her husband and two young boys. She enjoys running, competing in triathlons, and spending time with her family.
